Every class has two class teachers, the English teacher and the Chinese teacher, providing a bilingual environment for the children. |

Admission |
| |

A non-refundable registration fee is payable upon registration. |

Registration |
| |
1.1 |
Registration can be done throughout the year from Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 4.00 pm during the school term and between 9.00 am and 12.00 noon during term holidays. |

1.2 |
An open registration system is practised and registration can be done in advance. |
| |
1.3 |
Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. |
| |
1.4 |
There is a non-refundable registration fee of $50.00. |
| |
1.5 |
At the point of registration, the child's birth certificate and parents' IC's are required. |
| |
1.6 |
At the point of registration, payment of a deposit is also required as confirmation of a child's placement. |
| |
1.7 |
Once all available places have been filled, all further registrations will be placed on a waiting list. If a child's place is not confirmed, no deposit will be collected. |

Enrolment Exercise for Registered Children |
| |
2.1 |
Confirmation of enrolment for registered children takes place in the first quarter of the preceding year for the following new academic year. |

2.2 |
Confirmation of enrolment is by payment of the book fee and supplementary fee. |

| 3 |
Re-enrolment Exercise for Current Children |
| |
3.1 |
Confirmation of re-enrolment of current children for Nursery, K1 and K2 classes takes place in the first quarter of the preceding year for the following new academic year. |

Confirmation of re-enrolment is by payment of the book fee and supplementary fee. |

| 4 |
Withdrawals |
| |
4.1 |
A written notice of withdrawal must be given to the office within the specified period in order to qualify for a refund of the deposit and to avoid the forfeiture of the same. |

| 5 |
Insurance |
| |
The Kindergarten provides a 24-hour world-wide coverage Group Personal Accident Insurance Policy for every student studying in the Kindergarten. |

| 6 |
Foreign Students |
| |
Foreign students are covered by the Student Protection Scheme and must apply for a Student Pass. Contact our office staff for more information. |

|
| 7 |
Modes of Payment |
| |
7.1 |
St. James' Church Kindergarten is a GST registered company and the prevailing GST is chargeable for all transactions. |
| |
7.2 |
Only cash or cheque payment is accepted. |
| |
7.3 |
Account payee cheques are to be made payable to St. James' Church Kindergarten. |

Bus Transport |
| |
1.1 |
All transport arrangements are to be made directly with the transport providers and shall be subject to the terms set by the bus operators. |

Meals |

The children's meals during snack or lunch time are provided free of charge. |

The Kindergarten does not cover the cost of special meal arrangements for excursions and special events. |

School Uniform |

This refers to the St. James' Church Kindergarten uniform, T-shirt, name tag, bag, jacket, and cap. |

These may be purchased from the office during office hours. |

| 4 |
Parents' Handbook |
| |
The Parents' Handbook will be made available to parents when the child starts school. This handbook provides further information regarding policies, routines and procedures in the Kindergarten. |
